The Most Beautiful Beaches in Italy

Visiting Italy's picture-perfect Beaches is just something every tourist should see. These beaches are a wonderful photoshoot location to snap a few pics. Most of these beaches include a bit of a hike, but the end result is definitely worth it. Note, some offer free and/or paid parking. August is usually when these destinations are the busiest. Plan accordingly to avoid rush hours. I would recommend early morning or late afternoon during the summer seasons. So, if you want to learn more about which beach would be the best to see, I have listed a few of the favorites I have researched.

Spiaggia di Fegina

The Spiaggia di Fegina beach is located south of Milan along the western edge near the coastal city of La Spezia. Features the Cinque Terre cliffs along this golden pebbly beach.

Sansone Beach

The Sansone Beach is off the northern coast of Elba Island, in the Tuscany region, off the town of Portoferraio. This beach is only accessed on foot about a 15-minute hike.

Marina Piccola

Marina Piccola beach is one of the sunniest spots on the island of Capri, located on the southern coastline. According to legends, Odysseus is rumored to have been bewitched by the Sirens on the cliffs here. It's best to visit during the Morning or early afternoon as it's the less popular time. There are boat tours of the Faraglioni rock formations as well.

Isola Bella

Located on the East Island in the Sicily region near Taormina commune. Isola Bella offers a boat tour of the island and the surrounding waters. It's best to visit during the summer months for warmer weather and waters, but it might also be the busiest. To get to the island, you can either take the cable car or climb a flight of steps.

Punta Delle Colonne

Punta Delle Colonne is located off the southern coast of San Pietro Island. This is a Beautiful, photogenic small island. There are several activities to do here like kite surfing, windsurfing, sailing, and of course, swimming. This island is easily accessible on foot.

Cala Goloritze Beach

Cala Goloritze Beach or Galortizè Bay is located in the Ogliastra area. It is reachable by foot or boat, but note that the hike likely takes more than an hour. This picture-perfect beach is one of the best snorkeling beaches on the island of Sardinia. This island offers even more beaches like the Cala Biriala, Cala Sisineand, just to name a few plus many more.

Spiaggia del Principe

Spiaggia del Principe beach is near the small village of Cala di Volpe. From the parking spaces to the beach is about a 10-minute walk. It spans 250 meters long, with good snorkeling spots due to its shallow water.

Channel Ciolo

The Channel Ciolo beach is a mini beach area that has a unique cave. This is a great swimming spot, with a bridge that crosses over it. Letting visitors take a drive over the beach.
